But the reality is, we are patients managing pain.
We are moms taking control of our anxiety.
We are workaholics from the corner office, looking for a way to unwind.
We are from every background, every walk of life.
Some of us even juggle hacky sacks on the quad.
And yet, here we are together.
United if only by our belief in cannabis as a from-the-earth plant
that has the power to relieve people and revive communities.

Internship reserved for black and brown entrepreneurs as a way to share the knowledge about how to build a successful cannabis business.
“We need to get people from our community—black entrepreneurs, brown entrepreneurs—into positions of growing strong businesses,” said Hood Incubator co-founder Lanese Martin. It used to be weed sold itself,” she said.
“Now it’s about the brand … It’s the marketing, it’s the story, it’s the distribution. It’s a lot more sophisticated. So we need our people to get up to that level of sophistication.”
